these threads are always a trip. you get the chex mix variety of posters in here.

the narcateers who support the narcs no matter what
the socios who want the cart narcs to be actually murdered
the philosobros who come in to share rhetoric about the returning of the cart
the "guy who posts the thing" who always posts the image about the cart, not always the same person but there is always one
and the norms who are just confused by all this

do i put my carts up? yeah. do i care if other people don't? not really unless it's super windy and they might hit other peoples cars

if a cart takes up a spot or an employee has to walk a bit extra it's not that big a deal, it's not really worth condemning people over

if anything though, if you think about it, even returning it to the cart corral is lazy. why not just take it back to the store so other people can use it? because it's slightly further away? sounds like lazy bones behavior to me

I've seen live proof of the exception to that rule. I was coming out of the grocery store and saw a guy I know for a fact works at that very store in his street clothes abandon a cart right behind a car that wasn't his. Didn't even tuck it up by the curb or parking bump where it would be out of the way. Nope, left it where someone would have to move it just to get their car out of the spot.

The only thing people are aware of is another idiot content creator, provoking confrontations for Internet fame.

Like... just put your cart away and you won't have to deal with his annoying ass. It's really as simple as that. Hell, you don't even have to do that. If you acknowledge your wrongdoing and are nice about it he'll put the cart away for you.

I put my cart away because I choose to. Not because I fear the wrath of some little prick acting as self appointed moral crusader.

Again, he doesn't give a shit about the issue. He's found a niche to monetize, and a bunch of people who fantasise about doing similar to defend him.

He has countless videos of positive interactions with people but nobody ever talks about those lol.

I wonder why? Could it be that no one gives a shit, and his income is driven by the negative reactions he aims for?

Everyone pretty much puts away their carts in Japan but if some dude started walking up to people and filming them and yelling at them if they didn't, I guarantee the average person here would hate that guy way more than the person who didn't put the cart back. I think it's very weird people support what he is doing.
