Super Bowl conspiracy theories involving Taylor Swift are "nonsense", says NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
Music superstar Swift is dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, whose team will compete in their fourth Super Bowl in five years on Sunday.
Right-wing critics say their relationship is part of a plot to rig the NFL's championship game and help get US President Joe Biden re-elected.
"I'm not that good a scripter," said Goodell.
"The idea that this is within a script, this is pre-planned, is just nonsense. It's frankly not even worth talking about."

I really hope the Chiefs win.

I don't even watch football (minus army navy game), but if the Chiefs win, I'm going to laugh.

My theory is the right thought Swift was some sort of conservative hiding who she was (she is white, Christian and sings country), that when they found out that she's actually a Democrat, they felt betrayed by that revelation.

It's more how far right the republicans in this country have turned. I loathe Swift as a personality, and every aspect of her screams "basic." Like, if the right was like they were in 2012 there wouldn't be any care.
