Ever since, the only real difference between Sony & Microsoft has mostly been their handful of first party titles, which aren't nearly as numerous or impactful as Nintendo's, & just have begun eventually winding up on PC anyway; then Nintendo who just does their own thing in the corner, ironically making themselves the only console that has any distinct value you can't immediately get anywhere else. --- Remember kids, it's only an RPG until someone gets hit with a meteor; Then it's a JRPG!
