I remember it quite well. I was in high school and a big fan of NWA. I also was a fan of Ice Cube when he broke and went solo and had his beef/bad blood with NWA's manager Jerry Heller. It was a bummer because I really liked NWA and obviously they were much stronger with Ice Cube. Then they just continued to dissolve and then the beef with Dre as well.

I'm not an expert on the subject but I remember it very well. I was absolutely into that music at the time. I don't know current rap at all but back then I definitely was heavily into NWA, Cube, Dre, Ice-T and then a little later Snoop and Tupac. Also was a big fan of Too $hort.

Was mostly into the west coast vibe (even though I was in the midwest in farm country) but I also liked some east coast stuff like Public Enemy and a smattering of others. This is the stuff that hit hard in my teen years.

I've never followed rap so this is the first I've ever heard of this.

I was in 8th grade when The Chronic and 187um came out, so it was a pretty big deal. Our first "house party" with parents out of town was that year and we played these two albums and Cypress Hill's Black Sunday the whole time.

I didnt know who they were when I was 5

I didn't start following rap until at least a year after Biggie passed.

The only thing I remember about Eazy-E is that Bone Thugs put him in their video as a spirit as a tribute to him.
