Nothing has honestly fucked me up mentally more than the constant ghosting and gaslighting Ive gotten from any woman Ive ever dated / tried to date. Dont freaking act like you like me and are so into me and then out of the blue just be like lol jk never mind, just gonna suddenly become cold and distant and stop talking to you.

I think Im legitimately traumatized from it.

And yes Im aware who made the topic, I dont care if its in bad faith and that hes gonna put this on his weird stalker spreadsheet. It needs to be said.

Ultimately it just speaks to the ghoster's sociopathic tendencies. But it sucks to have a connection (or perceive a connection) and then the other person's like "I'm never going to talk to you again nor tell you why, even when you reach out to me"

I get why people do it, but there's always people pretending like "oh how dare you have bad feelings about it!"

Fucking, you'd be weird not to feel bad about getting ghosted. It's never even happened to me, yet it's so obviously sad just hypothetically.
