Did you keep this same energy when people were harassing MJ's face model from Spider-Man? Or when they were harassing the writer intern on the game, claiming she was the lead writer and insisting she self inserted as MJ? Or when they harassed Laura Bailey for daring to play Abby? Or any of the multitudes of examples of overly horny gamers being just the absolute worst?

Not really. It's pretty simple, don't harass people. Though a lot of these people will try to use their detractors as shields from criticism. Point to a few examples of nasty DMs and try to say "this is what all criticism is like". They try to paint everyone with the same brush.

Not really. Saying "that MJ model is ugly" is different from harassing the actual person they used for the model.

This game gets both way too much flak and attention. It looks fine but it also looks like every other titty hack and slash. Nobody cared about X-Blades, Red Ninja, Soulstice, Oneechanbara or the hundred others. Why is this getting so much discussion?

I'd like to think it was because those were a dime a dozen back then. Stellar Blade kinda feels unique and fresh in today's market.

It's also surprising to me given they've only made gacha games before. Ones with pretty decent stories/lore as gacha go, but a big difference between those and console/pc games.
