Went to Walmart early this morning before the crowd got there.

Driving away I seen a dozen or so of various women hanging around the front of the Happy Nails store.

You'd figure they would have learned to do it themselves by now.

Nails are pretty.

Just because women like nails doesn't mean they're all going to know how to do it.

That has why can't women cook energy, I'm sure lots of them like food but why cook yourself when you can have somebody make it for you?

Intricate nail art and stripper manicures stopped being viewed as trashy a few years back (the main reason why being kind of hilarious in itself) so nail art is a lot more popular than it was before.

Also this is like saying "Why do dudes go to the mechanic if they like cars so much? You'd figure they would have learned to fix them by themselves now".

I dont do mine unless Im getting all dressed up for an event. Too much damn hassle for a broken nail to mess it all up.

One is a form of artistic and body expression. The other is a matter of necessary maintenance for a vehicle. The only similarity is just that you are paying someone else to do it for you.

It would be more accurate to just ask "why don't guys (or any gender for that matter) just cut their own hair instead going to a barber?" Or if you want to use a car, "why don't they wash the car themselves instead of using a car wash?"

Never hears so much blue hell raising when my sisters or lady friends bang a nail.

My wife has to have someone else do it because her hands shake too much to do it herself along with it being a challenge to bend over and do it herself so it is easier to pay someone else to do it instead.

An unusual amount of women have complimented my nails. I don't paint them but they grow long fast and they are sharp as knives. When I was in HS, this girl liked to paint my nails and I have to admit, it did look nice. I'm not sure I get it either but nice nails look nice, perhaps it isn't meant to be complicated.

Most recent compliment was this lady at a retail store saying my nails looked better than hers. I don't do any maintenance on them, I'm all natural.

Those long nails make me want to vomit. I've seen numerous receptionists with those long nails with a ton of gunk built up underneath and I can never get that image out of my mind everytime I see long nails >_> It's like my own personal PTSD

They are tough to do on your own if you dont have the time or setup at home some people have a bunch of kids that would distract so much plus it takes some skill to do some of the techniques and things they do
