Are you just ignoring the video TC posted. Not to mention the many others you don't have to look very hard for. Like I simply go on YouTube and type "no date android users" and there's a shit ton of videos like this

It's certainly not made up. Materialistic people exist. You'll have people judged and dismissed because of the cars they drive and the clothes they wear, so why would you think this isn't happening for phones as well?
