I only played it for an hour or so as a kid. Banjo Kazooie was GOAT. But my god this game is massive

Just played about two hours before bed. I honestly expected to get annoyed after 10 minutes but I didnt. I finished the temple and then quit at the next level.

thoughts:

There are some really brain dead and jinjos like the top of the temple. But theres some legit just far out shit I would have never thought of. Like I had no idea there were ledges by the snake to shimmy for a page. Theres also so much shit you cant do. That you waste time doing it to find out you cant do it yet

The giant egg behind the separating banjo and Kazooie buttons for example. Or that you cant get the stone pillar jiggie yet. But then I hit the doom level and Im like holy shit, this is the best game ever

I'm this. Something about all the levels being connected to others in some way felt really cool to me. Though I understand this made finding out how to get some items a lot more complicated than the first game. I loved it though.

but no I wouldn't really say it's more difficult, unless your idea of difficulty is a bunch of signposts with "come back later you can't do this yet" written on it. there's just.... a lot of game. even the smallest banjo tooie level is probably 2-3x the size of the largest kazooie level
