OJ got a well known lawyer, who cooked up some crazy narrative that the jury bought. Some glove, which was found at the scene, was too small to fit Simpson's hands, even though a great number of other possibilities existed, like the blood shrunk the glove, or it wasn't his glove or used at all, or there was an accomplice. Later interviews also showed the juries had very poor understanding of the case even after it was over.

In the 90s , Nicole Brown Simpson the ex-wife of OJ and her friend as Waiter at store were sliced up. So they were not just stapped to death it was really bad.

The police would break into the OJ's house and find a bloody glove in his lawn. (keep this in mind.) Later they wanted him to surrender to the police and instead they had a low-speed chase in a white Ford Bronco driven by his friend A.C. Green (maybe not sure).

In the court case the DA all a lot of DNA evidence , and the Defense attacked it . Then here is where the gloves come in. Simpson tried on a pair of bloody leather gloves that were allegedly worn by the killer and found at the crime scene and his home. The gloves appeared to be too small for his hands, leading Cochran to famously declare, "If it doesnt fit, you must acquit". There were all these excuses from the DA cold weather , OJ stop taking his medication. But it was them who wanted OJ to put the glove on. Then comes the guy who found the glove
Fuhrman he was racist who lied on stand. Also late it was found that he beat confessions out of people, who were innocent. He also was on Fox a lot.

This pushed people to vote not guilty.

Many white people were crushed. Many Black people were happy since over and over they have police and the system get away with killing black people. So many people did not Trust the police. So black people were not happy that OJ got away with it. But that police did not RR another innocent black person. Like Crash Unit had been known to do .

I even watched the slow speed chase live after school. Which oddly helped popularized SUVs, which almost no one drove at the time.

I remember one of the things the police fucked up was not having a warrant to search OJ's place. They went there believing that OJ might be in danger too, so they were only legally able to search where a big, brawny football player's body could legitimately fit. They searched everywhere. A lot of stuff was inadmissible in court since they seized it illegally.

There's rumors that the police really did try to frame him, not realizing it actually was him, and in the end messed it up so badly that he ended up going free.

Shitty prosecution, shitty investigators, shitty jury.

He did it. There is very little doubt. You can look up the obscene amount of evidence against him, but the fact of the matter is that none of it mattered because Johnny Cochran turned it into a sideshow.

The prosecution made numerous unforced errors and the investigators were lying and corrupt idiots.

He had the means, he had the motive, he had the opportunity. He had no credible alibi. And he got away with it.
