But yeah, Diggs stopped trying in this last season and it was clear we weren't getting full effort out of him. Better to get some value out of this.

Hopefully we get some value out of this. We cut a lot of guys and need receiver depth.

4 of the 5 first round QBs drafted in 2021 were traded before their rookie deal was up. That class isn't going to be climbing the QB draft class rankings anytime soon.

Everyone is still chasing the 1983 and 2004 QB classes.

I'm just assuming some team would give up a stupid amonunt of assets if one of the top 3 QBs was still on the board

I can't wait to see who mortgages their future to trade up to draft a QB that Jim Harbaugh didn't think was good enough to be the featured part of his offense

My main concern about Daniels is that the dude took a lot of BIG hits in college. He seems to invite contact, and that won't work in the NFL.

Bowers is one of those guys I could see dropping to the end of the first round because he's not a "need" for most teams. He'd just be really nice to have.

Just don't let the Chiefs get him.

Jets have gotten like zero production from TEs recently. Like, I wouldn't be mad if they got an OL because my standing rule remains "just draft offensive linemen jfc" but TE sorta is a need IMO.

Fair enough. I do think Burrows has had nice WRs in Cincy and I don't see that happening in NE in the near future. Daniels will be taking a lot of abuse behind NE's line as well. I think he can be a good pro! I just think I'd rather have MHJ at 3.
