This tournament covers every part of the series -- original series, Z, GT, Super, the movies, there are even a couple of characters from the games in here. I made the bracket as well as I was able to, since there wasn't a large enough popularity poll to base the seeding off of this time, so hopefully I matched everyone up well enough that nobody gets robbed too early in this. In the event of a tie, it will be determined by a never-controversial Lightning Round of votes. The winner of each round advances to their next match, and the loser goes to HFIL. Morning bump I also agree that it would have been really cool for Chiaotzu to keep pace with the rest of the Z Fighters. He would have been a great counter to more bizarre/magically-themed opponents like Guldo (yes, I know he was dead when they fought Guldo, shut up) (yes, I also know Guldo wasn't magic, shut up) ... The only way Yamcha probably beats Chiaotzu is 1) if Chiaotzu still doesnt know basic match, and 2) Yamcha knows basic math. Yamcha died fighting a Saibaiman - Kuririn killed 3 of those things in a single attack.You can't really use this as a point of comparison because Chiaotzu never fought a Saibaman, so we don't actually know how he would have fared against one. And technically Nappa didn't kill Chiaotzu, he blew himself up in a failed kamikaze attack. So he doesn't work as a measuring stick either. And if we're bringing King Piccolo into it, remember that Krillin died against one of KP's children, who were weaker than him, yet is still stated to be stronger than Chiaotzu, who was killed by the King himself. No reason Tambourine wouldn't have been able to take out Chiaotzu if he got to him; Piccolo just did it instead. So again, not an accurate measuring stick. Just accept that Dragon Ball power scaling is unreliable at best and mostly reliant on who got the most recent power-up or transformation. ... Copied to Clipboard!
