I usually don't drink Dasani but I had no other options today and it tasted fine IMO. I mean it's water

I have never had it before because it is expensive.

It's overpriced, but otherwise it's fine. I don't know where the hate stems from, but the only "hate" it should get is that it's more expensive than generic brand bottled water, when they're all probably bottled from the same source.

Well, when they tried to launch it in the UK they told us it was full of spunk.

I don't like how Dasani tastes. That's my only reason. I'll still drink it if it comes down to it, but it's like the last water I'll pick, if I have a choice

Isn't that the one owned by Coca-Cola?

salty water is literally what it is

It tastes awful to me, like metallic or something. Same with Aquafina.

Also yeah it's just water but I can get just water at cheaper prices.

People are stupid. I drink tap water, I drink Wal-Mart water, I drink cheap bottled, and I drink fancy bottled water from a gas station when I happen to find myself thirsty on da road, and it all tastes da same to me. Only difference being in da temperature.

Water's flavor changes depending on both a person's genetics/taste buds and the mineral composition in the water itself. If it all tastes the same too you, then that's just how your taste buds are.

Dasani tastes worse and is less refreshing

yep just like some people can smell things other's can't or that seem faint, some people have superb hearing

I bet if I took a cup of tap water and added a pinch of salt he still wouldn't be able to tell the difference, yet I literally just added a pinch of salt and that is infact a HUGE difference

same with sugar, a pinch of sugar many people will not notice while other will immediately detect it

I get my filtered water out of a machine for 50 cents a gallon. lol paying like $2 for a little bottle of the same shit

It's garbage coca cola tap water.

I remember it tasting like dirt, either that or Aquafina probably both. I have tried both of them and they tasted wrong to me.

It tastes like doo doo, and costs too much. Coca-Cola does not need to be making this many products.

I mean, for starters, Id call it coriander but also its glorious. However, launching a water brand by claiming that its full of male ejaculate isnt a good tactic.

I don't know what they do to it, but it does genuinely just taste bad to me. It's the only brand I've ever had that tastes funky.

I hate all bottled water simply for coming in plastic bottles.

Its really not that bad

i prefer getting my own ice from our river (I had gotten tons of it trust me) but that was when I was in way better shape

miss chopping off chips and letting it melt in my mouth. Made AWESOME coffee and plain drinking water

Yup. It's not like spring water is hard to get or more expensive. There's just no point to Dasani or Aquafina, if you want filtered tap water you can get a Brita and it will taste better for far cheaper.

And it being a massive failure.

Cuz their plastic bottles taste bad. It's not the water, you can fill them and dump the water out 50 times, the bottle still tastes bad. You can do whatever double blind study you want with other bottled water bottles. It's the Dasani bottle.

Of all the bottled water it tastes weird, there is a noticeable difference between dasani water and others but in a bad way. I would pick dasani water last if there is any other choice.

If you want a laugh regarding Dasani bottled water go and read about it's disasterous launch of it in Britain.

It was such a disaster that it was taken off the market after only a few months.

First it was discovered that all Coca-Cola was doing was using tap/faucet water from Sidcup in Kent and then putting it through some weird osmosis process which left it with dangerously high values of chemicals in it.

Then they gave us these for advertisements:

Americans except for Coca-Colas advertising department know what "spunk" means in Britain.

Coke has no plans to ever release it again in Britain or Europe.
