I've won over 100 games.

While knowing how to double and triple t-spins help, it's not those things that help you win. It's the badges. You get enough, your attack power hurts and what opponents can do to you is softened. Also having a bunch of people target you makes it so your attack power is even stronger. A great way to draw attention is to fill your board up until you're about to top out.

Still, there's too many good people out there. I just can't think fast enough.

Fortunately with this Seven stack meta, there's alot of way to auto build since drops aren't truly random. There's a whole site dedicated to that.

I only played it a weekend or two when it first came out. I think I got in the top five once or twice, but not any better than that and usually outside the top ten.

Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.

I think the pool of active players has thinned and only really good people are still kicking around. I stopped playing over three years ago.

Oh no, naw man. You could be very average and still win. It's playing Tetris 99, not the seven stack meta. If you can consistently get Tetrises, you can win. You just need to draw attention to yourself and once you do, switch to "Attackers" and watch your screen light up golden yellow as you hit Tetris after Tetris.

I have a few times.

I'm mainly here for the Special Themes, though.

I've won like, 4-5 times IIRC. Usually happens when I don't notice there's like three people left, and the other two get too busy dealing with others that I get away with killing them both off.
