Cause I don't want to physically go buy the tickets myself. If they're given to me for free, it's chill. Going and buying them from different vendors takes time and effort and I ain't about that for gambling purposes.

Why would you need to go to multiple places? Why would you need to make a special trip for this purpose? Just get the $500 worth of tickets next time you were at a store that sells them.
