Apples are pretty damn easy. Dont even need to peel them. Just pick them up and eat them. Last longer than bananas too. Also lots of people in the US have apple trees. I dont know anyone who has bananas on their property.

Besides washing they should be refrigerated. Plus it's a lot of picking off the little vine where a banana is just hold and bite until it's gone. Grapes are also way more expensive per pound than bananas.

You need to wash them and the juice can drip down your chin when biting. Plus the peel can get stuck in your teeth unless they're fairly gapped.

I'm personally a fan of Nectarines. All the taste of Peaches, but none of the fuzz. The only issue is eating them at the right time after harvest.

But the fuzz is what makes peaches so wonderfully butt-like

That's because the above-ground part of the banana "tree" dies off every year, then regrows from the root structure the next year. Bananas are the highest waste-to-food ratio food crop in common cultivation.

How about cucumber? Just like banana:
  1. No refrigeration needed
  2. No cutting tools needed
  3. Not messy unless you eat like a turtle
  4. Relatively cheap

Cucumber's advantage compared to banana:
  1. Last longer
  2. Less space needed if you want to plant & harvest
  3. Tasty salad and drink (subjective)
Cucumber's disadvantage:
  1. Needs washing

You eat cucumbers without cutting them? I guess it's possible but I've never seen it done like that.

The raspberry seeds can get under my permanent retainer. It hurts a lil bit when that happens.. Not user friendly imo

Mandarins and dekopons are pretty up there too. Yeah they need to be peeled, but the rind breaks off with just your finger. The inner flesh pulls apart neatly into segments too.

Better than my grandfather eating raw onions. He'd bite into them like an apple. Not sure if he really liked it or was fucking with us.

Mine usually last long enough to eat one per day until they're gone. I can eat them when they're still a little green. Kind of prefer them like that now.

anything you can just pull off a tree and eat without peeling is more user friendly.

apples, berries, stone fruits, tomato, etc

least user friendly has to be citrus or melon.

But yeah I never find a good one unless I travel abroad. Tried some nectarines in different countries in europe and they tasted absolutely delicious. I could eat 3 in one sitting.

I'm in that boat as well. They are my favourite fruit, but they have to be soft, sort of orange/red inside. Otherwise there literally is barely any flavor.
