On the other hand I feel if too many players offer themselves it will just tell scum where the players who dont want to die, the powers, are hiding.

This is true. Ulti usually goes on tirades about how B8 loves to lynch active town over inactive. Then gives immunity to Red. Have to step into Ulti land to see if he values Red more as a player than his values against lynching active town. And Ulti land is a difficult place to understand sometimes.

I am content, and I strongly scold the lack of faithfulness going on right now.

I dont know about this. Or I'm misunderstanding you. I think Ulti actually contributed a fair bit for D1. Not much more than his soul reads, but he did show up multiple times to give input and interacted with people while in the topic.

I just feel like Ulti would have been more involved with the actual dating process while Red I fully expected to be lazy with it day1. (not that I condone it)

I wouldn't mind going with you. But the problem is now I'd be doing it at the expense of Peaf. And if I got JC to agree to date Peaf, then that's just Kirby dying again, which is back to square one lol. I don't see a reason for Peaf to breakup with me unless he thinks he can secure a date himself.

2. In the long run, is it worth having a player around who everyone believes is town? With consideration to both day and night phase, knowing that protection might not even exist in this game.
