I'm not much of a trash-talker but I do curse (as a reflex) when things don't go my way. That's more of a function of me getting angry at myself. Otherwise, for the most part I respect my opponent and try not to hold grudges if I loser against them.

I'm similar. In dead by daylight when I play killer I don't try to get people out of the game right away. But hey if they get into antics then they're pretty much asking for it

Assuming they're strangers and it's not a case of playing against friends, like bots. Say nothing unless I have to, keep any frustration or excitement to myself, and just play the game.

I don't do online gaming, I find most people there too toxic. I prefer single player games with strong narratives. But this describes me when playing dek hockey. I am very amicable with opponents and teammates but I curse at myself for mistakes a lot; I'm my own harshest critic. Any trash talk I do is very light hearted if I do it at all.

I try not to bother anyone unless they go after me. And if they start going after me, thats when I start holding grudges.

Only online game I play is Rocket League; I have voice chat disabled and just use preset text prompts. For both opponents and teammates I'm mostly silent, occasionally complimentary, until they start being rude. Then I may start getting snarky depending on how badly they're playing. I do say GG win or lose though.

I never play multi-player unless it is local. I used to play CSGO deathmatch and I never talked shit. Just a friendly gg at most. I had one game where I was close to winning but the top player edged me out. Nothing but a gg and respect.

I did play the serious more traditional counter strike mode competitively once. I was the last person alive and got shot with 5 seconds left. A bunch of shit talking and t bags later I was done. Not worth it(and that's likely tame compared to whatever else people do)

Worst I've done is excessive taunting in street fighter 3.

Which could be hilarious sometimes cause it would make the opponent rage and become reckless making them even easier to beat. After awhile it went from me being a dick to me using it as a legit strategy
