Alright I have no idea what I'm looking at and I'd like to avoid paying an extra 60 dollars just to ask some turbo tax person what the actual fuck I'm looking at. Googling the form hasn't helped yet, my wife and I still don't know what to do.

Use FreeTaxUSA. It's free federal filing but you might have to pay for state. It walks you through what you need to do and where it goes and files the forms for you.

Problem is I paid for it already. But I thought I could skip it cause I did NOT make over 150k last year.

Alright so, it's form az140es. I'm reading over it again and I just don't understand. Do I put 0? Do I curl up and just die?

Why are you trying to do 140-ES? That's for estimated taxes, you only file that if you're self employed or otherwise making money from someone other than an employer (interest, dividends, rents, alimony, etc) and taxes are not being withheld. Normally your employer would be withholding money and making your tax payments throughout the year, with you filing a form next year to pay (or get a refund on) the difference between the amount withheld and the actual amount owed, but if you're self employed you have to estimate your income and make payments as you go.

You only need to file AZ 140-ES if you're required to file IRS form 1040-ES. If you're just doing normal taxes like a normal employee, you'll want form 140, Resident Personal Income Tax Form.

I wish I was awake when you sent that. And also wish I didn't pay the extra 60 bucks to talk to one of their "live experts."
It WAS 0. The answer was fucking 0. Because yes, WHY was I getting this form? Even the old Asian lady was confused as to why I couldn't finish filing until I completed the 140es.
