Also side note. I think spiderverse 1 was a 6/10 while this may be a 10/10 (9 minimum)

I thought dune 1 was a 6/10....seeing dune 2 soon, maybe this ends up being a good weekend for me

Well The Prowler that Donald Glover plays, shown in Spiderverse, is also briefly in a Holland movie, though he's just Aaron and he doesn't have a role beyond pointing Peter towards Vulture cause he doesn't want those crazy guns in his neighborhood.

He was a criminal and perhaps was The Prowler at night, however in that movie he just seemed like a low-level criminal.

But since he exists there, it means there's probably a Miles.

I don't think Spider-Man himself is more important than anyone else, Miguel is just the one who started it all and he's filtering it through his own Spider-Man lens.

So far only events concerning spiderman or at least those who could potentially become spiderman have led to multiversal collapses so far. And while the spots actions arent helping non of his antics across other universes seem to have caused the amount of damage Miles did by just saving a police chief......

It's because Miles was never meant to be Spiderman. The spider that bit him wasn't even from his universe, so the universe that spider was from has no Spiderman. As the other universe shows he may have ultimately became the Prowler and the fact that the colors of his Universe were Prowler colors until he was bitten by the spider, which then became red & blue, helps support this.

Im aware of and accept that but in the grand scheme of things....wtf does this even matter? Hell Why would the universe even care for a insignificant street tier hero like spiderman from a mudball planet of countless others?

Also its pretty convenient a action that significant didnt destroy Miles or cause a ripple effect to detroy the radioactive spiders home universes. As His spiderman was supposed to die and stay dead but didnt and nothing happened. While Miguel replacing himself from another universe ended up destroying it.

If they're going to create convoluted rules and circumstances to raise the stakes then at least be consistent.

Can we talk about how it got fucked over raw with no best original score nomination instead giving one to fucking Indiana Jones, or how "Am I Dreaming" wasn't nominated for best original song but that horrendous song from the terrible feature length Flaming Hot Cheeto commercial did.

Assuming canon events aren't just cope, I assume it's just an adaptation on a multiversal scale where Miles in 42 would have initially had to deal with that shit, but now that Miles in 1610 got bit things have been adjusted to compensate, much like how 1610 Miles probably would have been the next Prowler if he didn't get bit.

I interpreted it as miles became prowler because spiderman didnt exist in that universe to keep the captain alive.

I still hate multiverse but this is the best multiverse movie

I liked the core message, the struggle of the daughter. The scene where they were rocks was cute.

That said the humor was too whacky for me. From the buttplug fight to hot dog hands. I appreciate the swing and will always respect a movie that tries something unique but I had to force myself through it

There is no "probably" about it. Aaron straight up mentions having a young nephew, it's why he doesn't want the Vulture's weaponry floating around his neighborhood.
