The poll also suggests that Trump could nearly double his share of the black vote vs. 2016 and 2020 for the largest Republican share among that demographic than any president since Nixon, who received 32%. I could get dismissal with polling firms that called races wrong, but a lot of firms did in fact call a lot of races correctly from 2016-2023 and were generally consistent about it, and the only response from the Biden camp is to just ignore it and press forward and hope things change somehow. I was told back in Oct/Nov when Biden's polling was terrible that it'd change, it hasn't and it's been like 4-5 months, and Trump is as loud and threatening as ever in his speeches. The polling response at this point is to deny reality and press hold on a Biden candidacy.
