are we counting military service/training barracks?

if so, i think it was like 30-40 in the builinf, 7-8 in a room for a few months

7, it was fucking awful.

2 (3 for awhile) when I was in my early 20s and in the military. For a brief time I lived off the ship at a nice townhouse at the beach for about a year. Back in the mid 90s.

It was a good experience but I grew up just my dad and I and moved out at 17 so I was kind of use to mostly being alone. I had fun with it and had zero issues with my buddies. It was a fine thing to do at that age but not something Id repeat after being a bit older. But when you are basically college age, sure its common.

Im assuming this is talking about a housing situation because on my ship there was 100 of us using the same sleeping area and sharing a bathroom and showers on the ship.

Lived in an air force dorm for a few years. Had 3 other roommates. We had our separate rooms.
We just shared a kitchen and washer/dryer

I only had roommates in my college dorm. My first semester I was in a triple with 2 others and it was very crammed.

4 in a decent-sized house. It was good for the most part, but one of them started stealing from me and at least one of our other roommates and it made the whole situation a lot worse and more awkward. I also grew up with 6 other people in the house if that counts.

Three. It was fine for the most part. We each had our own room and bathroom so that helped a lot.

4 in both my college suite freshman year and in a duplex I lived in during grad school. Neither were great experiences. The college suite had 3 roommates that I called the stooges because they partied almost every single night and put me and the other guy in an awkward situation as the college decided that people in the suite should share group responsibility for any policy violations and they got caught with weed and alcohol several times. Eventually they were booted out of the residency halls and we got 3 other roommates who were better but had their own problems (2 of them did anyway)

In grad school the situation was a bit different. I moved in to a duplex that already had four people there as I filled in to make up for someone who moved out. Since these 4 had been so chummy with each other throughout undergrad I never was anything other than 'the new guy' to them. They left passive aggressive notes all over the apartment whenever I did something that displeased them instead of fucking talking to me like an adult. When we all moved out they stayed in touch with each other but basically cut me off from being anything more than a Facebook friend.

I will never live with men again.

Just one, and it wasn't great. He had a nasty musky ass ferret that bit a hole in the water bed, soaking the floor and ruining a bunch of my mtg cards I had in the closet.

Most was two, it was great for a year but when it started going downhill it got bad fast. I don't talk to those people anymore, but hey at least I got to bang one of them

3 and it was ok

3 in college. The first set was ok. 2 randoms that mostly stayed in their room while the third one was a personal friend. Then the second set was 3 random loud people, but I did get along with one of them.

3, wasn't too bad other then the fact I shared a wall with the two that were a couple so I constantly heard them fucking. Never had the decency of inviting me in on the action either.

5. It was a 2 bedroom one bathroom apartment btw. Eventually it became like 8 and that's when I dipped.

I lived with 5 others in a college suite once. It was okay cuz all 6 of us werent ever in the place at the same time usually. We played Brawl every friday night together and it was fun.

One. My GF that eventually became my five.

Unless you count my kids, then 3.
