I think most conservatives support the literal genocide of Palestinians or don't care either way. Some only care about Israel to the extend it ties into Christian biblical prophecy.

Even if there was no biblical nexus to Israel, even if there were zero Jews in the US, and even if there were no pro-Israel PACs or lobbyists, the US government would still support Israel. It's simply a strategic advantage for the US to have a friendly, generally Western/modern/democratic ally in the region. Even better that it's a tech hub and a sandbox for the defense industry. There's no way the US is siding with poor refugees over that. I mean, they aren't even fighting communism.

yeah its too good of a strategic position to give up. And this war has shown other countries will support Israel if the US doesnt
