They seem to be carried out under a lot of pressure to remove disruptive elements, with mass markings and threads getting out of hand. But then, this isn't the Halls of Justice, it's a privately owned gaming messageboard staffed by volunteers. Most of the time, it works, sometimes a poster will get a rough decision (frequently those with a long history of justified moderations). That's just the way messageboards are and always have been. Some are able to negotiate them more smoothly than others. I also think the Red Ventures era was the worst time for this website, where they have no clue on how to manage the site so power abuses ran amok.
