My work bracket is dead now. I took UConn to win but so did someone else who also has Purdue in the final 4, which is enough to kill me.

The other day I had a dream and despite not being the focus of it at all that I can remember, in it I saw the score of UConn/Iowa and UConn was up 5 but it was like 25-20 so an early one.

so far holding up. we'll see what happens once they leave the predetermined path my dream set them on

It's been a really ugly game so far

Yeah, the first half was a mix of good defense and just bad offense. Iowa started to wake up a bit now though. Or, well, holding Clark to 6 in the first half just wasn't going to be sustainable for a whole game.

UConn had chances here (and I'm not sure about that offensive foul called against them on what was their best opportunity) but they just couldn't capitalize.

hopefully next year we get to see an actually healthy UConn team

maybe one day poor UConn will catch a break

South Carolina was just way to deep and too skilled across the board.

People will say Caitlin should have won a title if she was the GOAT, but I doubt any other Iowa Starter (possibly from both last year and this year) would be starting on any of LSU, UCONN, or SC. She got a much weaker team to two straight finals. A school that had never made a single final four before her.

Won't be surprised if no other player Caitlin played with at Iowa ever plays a single minute in the WNBA (though I'm hoping Steulke continues to grow and gets there).

So, uh, John Calipari is leaving Kentucky for Arkansas? Man, he is doing the school a huge favor by just leaving.
