Lea has the right of it, mostly.

My goal was to avoid plaguing several players right from Day 1. There didn't seem like any good reason to potentially mark multiple players on a day where my reads are usually pretty garbage. I would have rather risked doing so on Day 2 by following a train that I actually believed in.

I could've just voted someone without any votes, but I figured it'd be easier to explain my nonsensical voting if at least one person could vouch for me. Hence why I initially went for MZero despite believing he was town. Since Lopen's vote was locked, he'd be guaranteed to get tagged by my role.

But then I had second guesses about the Death lynch. Lea said that BCT likely had a less useful role given how willing he was to just roll over and die, whereas Death could have had a strong role, and that's what convinced me that specialing BCT would've been worth it.

Wow gamefaqs ate a post I was nearly done with, thats so rude.

Town reads are sbell, mzero, Kirby and BCT. None are locks but I feel good enough to look elsewhere for now.

That leaves: Chris, Lea, Ulti, Sultan, FD, Lopen, Corrik. Can absolutely buy 3-4 scum here.

Chris, no idea how to read him due to limited games together but I look forward to the aliens putting some damn content out and perhaps questioning folks beyond if they want to serve the aliens vision. No offense. Chris had a breezy casual way about him last game as town and nothing so far this game feels different than that. But I know hes good enough to fake any mood.

Lea seems a bit different this game, but the vibes arent bad. Maybe more focused. Or maybe she has a horrifying secret that will bring nuclear annihilation upon the town. But of all my non-town reads, feeling best here.

Ulti and Sultan are currently in my Poe along with Lopen based on vibes and lack of town curiosity and mojo. I feel town Ulti is sometimes wrong but never uncertain and I dont buy his oh woe is me I was so wrong last game schtick.

Sultan just feels like hes posting for the sake of posting content. I can find examples if people want. But admittedly I historically suck at reading Sultan. I dont expect Sultan to have all the answers but I expect him to have more sincere feeling questions.

FD feels much quieter than usual. But that seems like a null tell because he posted a ton as scum last game. Inverse of Lea here, where its different but the vibe is skeeving me a little.

I was disappointed Corrik didnt take advantage of his ability to post during n1 to finally comment on the day. When town, I feel Corrik has a way about him thats hard to fake. When he lives long enough he typically pops in mid-game with quick hit reads in a methodical way I always enjoy and tries to pressure others for claims. Obviously that cant be expected of him this game and thus the experimental aspects of this game wouldve had me tossing a scan in Corriks direction if I had such a power.

Luckily now that I know, I can avoid further contamination. I don't need to vote, I have people to do that for me.

Which means you can only both target scum with your ability AND try to lynch scum if there are other scum voting for scum?

Seems like a disincentive from from trying to vote out scum? You said yourself you were keeping your voting on someone "despite believing he was town".

Also your description of attempted switching from Death to BCT sounds like someone justifying switching from 1 person they thought was town to another person they thought was town in the name of trying not to kill a stronger town power.

How about don't vote for someone you think is town at all?

can barely get him to post during the day phase, you had an inkling of a hope that he would spend the night phase talking to himself? silly wallz

How the HELL was HE your go-to "give the ability to talk at night" choice? Literally the worst possible person you can choose, and that isn't remotely an exaggeration.

Ulti's weirding me out with his uncharacteristic silence on a few things. I hope he's not giving all his attention to the scum board instead. You'd think he'd at least try to vote after my cryptic comments :(

Lynch Death tbh

Call me naive sbell but yes I dared to dream Corrik mightve played the game he signed up for. I already bailed on Valentines Day mafia so Corrik could by and large lurk. Death, the other odd person out originally, at least participated before eating a bullet n1.

But life happens and I get busy sometimes too. So Ill keep my joke about youth wrestling tournaments lasting 72 hours to myself for now.

In dtc corrik also said no one was chatting at night when it literally took a full 30 seconds just to scroll through several of the rooms so I dunno. Let a man have his convictions about mafia night time being for sleeping and murder rather than talking or what not.

I don't care if he's telling the truth about his role, he is lying about wanting to poison me and definitely wanted to poison Lea. That should be lynchable.

I've slept on it and I think Kirby's role has to be town based on how he's played it. Or super cocky indie. I think it would be too awkward to wind up in a situation where he was to try hard to avoid taunting scummates, or it being too obvious when they don't die, etc.

That's something I was wondering too. Lopen was pretty hands off in regards to me day one, I was even in his "lynch me before you lynch X" group. Like Scare!

Yeah. He's actually pretty hard to lynch! I feel like a lot of people thought he was scummy and all went on Death instead, ironically, partially, because Death voted Kirby oddly instead of Sultan

no no, Sultan you misunderstand. I've been attacking your content since the start. Your early lopen voting fiasco was a real good sign of your FOMO as scum.

I do not discredit your giving Lopen a vote, but as scum, trying to give Lopen a vote he wants to use on Town (since he wanted to vote now town flipped death) it doesn't really add town points to you, you must see that.

iirc it was during the "stop Lopen from summoning Exodia" debacle where he was voting seemingly everyone and Chris' aliens insisted that he must be stopped.

Sultan jumped on the 'stop Lopen' train, only to immediately pump the brakes. It's a big part of the reason I didn't care for him yesterday, it was an off-feeling interaction for sure. Then he went and crafted a vote which made some feel better about him, but my thinking is still that it's a role that can exist as scum provided they can't give the crafted vote to a scummate.

town reads? I'd say I lean mostly town on Bct, Mzero, Lopen, at face. if I sit long enough though I start to doubt things and its the rabbit holes that make me doubt.

But for the moment I wouldn't participate in a lynch of the above 3 players. There are other players I probably wouldn't lynch either but I wouldn't really have much of a say either way, would i.
