I burned so many wakestones because Death kept rocking up and killing all of us. Did manage to kill daimon, got some half-decent gear.

now i need to do post-daimon for more armour/weapons. which means farming daimon most likely.

does pawn gear get dragonforged if we kill it while they're up, or is it only the Arisen? cuz that's gonna be frustrating if i have to manually swap gear to get dragonforged.

i'm a strider, pawn's a strider, summoned pawns are strider and mage.

i mainly do fire damage, main pawn does pure physical, summoned strider has rusted weapons for poison and torpor, and the mage has holy enchant and healing, with at least two offensive spells.

good route to run for post-daimon loot? and how hard is it to get more RC. i spent 130,000 on purifying the level 3 stuff after killing daimon the first time, and i only have 200,000ish left

Create an alt and run through the game with your pawn, or collect all 100 something Badges of Vow or whatever they were called (the quests under the pawn guild) then just run through the game several times turning in each one.

You can run from Death, don't have to fight it. Unless you want to, then yeah he's tough if you're not cheesing.

I love Magick Archer and it really shines in BBI w/ the lightning arrow that bounces off walls.

As for RC, I just made a 2nd file and traded pawns w/ myself... lol

You don't, you make a second account on whatever platform you're playing on.

can you even do family sharing with DD:DA on steam?

i do have an alt steam account that i used to get around a Dark Souls 3 ban (i wasn't cheating, i was playing one of the overhaul mods, and even though it said if i followed the instructions correctly i wouldn't get banned, guess fucking what)

oh, i don't care about the DS3 ban anymore. i use the main account for mods now, and the alt account if i want to do vanilla (which is very rare).

i've prob tried that but dont remember. i was trying to beat him w/ a 3 sorc + 1 mage party.

sorc is strong against most enemies in BBI.

exception to a few dragons/wyverns/drakes (dont remember which) w/ hard to reach weak spots and those knights guarding the final room are annoying. oh and golems. all of these are beatable w/ a full sorc + mage party tho just takes maybe 10-20 mins of spamming bolide/maelstroms/gicels in a safe spot.

tbf i'd probably run a strider as my main pawn, or a ranger, and a strider/mage summon duo

got around it by adding my alt through my main instead of the other way around.

made a thicc mage with red hair and a ponytail. the prologue made me think about going fighter though.

gonna make a fighter pawn, then swap it to warrior for levelling stats, then switch it to strider later.

so do i just summon my main's pawn, get to post game, and then farm the guards in the Noble Quarter for RC?

god spells take forever to cast in this game.

There's some getting around that, multiple casters of the same spell iirc either both shortens the time required to cast and strengthens it. Or just strengthens it. There are some augments to shorten the time as well and the Ring you get for the Duke also decrease casting time just by having one in the inventory of that pawn.

Pro tip: Pay to make a counterfeit version of that ring and turn the fake in for the quest. Keep the real one for yourself.

You can also gift it and buy more from the blackcat as well. They aren't forgeries either iirc so you can just have those gifted back for a full set of four.

Ranger

Blast arrows are legit broken, stack up on them as a Ranger and just unleash Tenfold Flurry and basically everything will either be stunlocked to death or die in seconds. Whichever comes first.

You can and probably should run from Death, it is literally the toughest enemy in the game and even with amazingly powerful stats it will still be hard to kill off.

If you really want to kill it, just carry a ton of blast arrows, and use 4 conqueror's periapts as well...blast arrows are heavy but buy a ton of them and have your pawns carry them and then take them when you need them. Death will flee each time you knock down one of his health bars, just keep moving on and he'll show up again with a reduced health bar.

As for BBI armor/weapons/gear, level 3 is the best. It's a complete RNG crapshoot. To finish BBI post-daimon You'll really want some top-tier vocation skills like brain splitter, and some top tier armor and weapons. You'll also want to get it all gold-tier dragonforged. And yeah only the weapons/armor that you have will have a chance to be dragonforged...annoying if you are a vocation like strider that can't wear much gear for a mage/sorceror pawn. There are some decent armors that can be worn by most classes though.

If you are sticking with strider, the fire bow you can get from a moonstone door is really good, and there's a good ice bow behind another door that a ranger can use.

As for where to find BBI level 3 stuff, it's scattered around a bit, and usually appears in the same places every time...I think just look in every nook and cranny and pick everything up that you can. There's a lot of hidden stuff in BBI, like you can get to a bunch of hidden hallways with loot up above that early fountain courtyard where a cyclops and goblins appear, and any church-ish area has a bunch of blocked-off loot areas up at the top that you have to double jump to.

oh i leveled my pawn as a warrior for the strength boosts and now they're a strider. i just need to gear them properly which means farming for BBI 3 armour/weps for both of us. and then dragonforging both sets.

i did get the 2nd best strider/ranger/assassin gloves.

again, it's mostly i'm gonna run out of RC before i get too far in the gear grind

I did get him, but I did lose all my pawns about halfway through so I did something I've never done before...

i'm just gonna sprint straight to Daimon from now on. fighting everything that isn't a cursed drake is really fucking annoying.
