I'm going to be honest here. I've watched every episode up to date because it hasn't lost me completely but we're... getting close.

Cecil, his MIB and Guardians are D-tier at best. They job, lose, and get massacred all the time.
Invincible bounces up and down his power curve like I've never seen a protagonist do before. I am also tired of the brakes being beaten off him over... and over... and over... and over. And over. And yet, he retains plot armor. From what little I know, Battle Beast should have killed him alone. He's lost a dozen more times to different enemies. It's always get walloped, recover in a hospital, get better, don't train, tell Cecil "nuh-uh!" and run to his gf or college. It's been this way for 14 episodes.
I have an aversion to multi-verse stuff even before the modern Marvel trends, and I'm groaning hard at the robot drones and extra invincibles being hinted at. Is this really going to be a thing?

Just starting to think it isn't for me, or I'm missing the message here.

Seems like the show might not be for you. I like the show a lot but I get it. My main gripe is that Mark and Amber's relationship really drags the show down. I like Amber and I like Mark but their dynamic just doesn't work for me.

I felt like the pacing got shot behind the barn. Season 1 felt almost like superhero Xcom to me, lots of expensive but low tier solutions to a galactic threat and needing to research how to stop it. Season 2 has absolutely jumped the shark by introducing so many alien societies, lowering the stakes, removing the aura of mystery behind the main antagonists and just making them 2D. Flanderized Space Occupiers is not what I expected.

I don't get Atom Eve at all. In the special she seemed to have near limitless powers of molecular manipulation that should be able to obliterate anything.

In series 2, she can barely keep a shield up for 5 minutes without collapsing from exhaustion.

Why did they get so lazy with Atom Eve's powers? In the first episode I remember being stoked because she was so creative with it, and then she just started shooting laser beams and making bubble shields.

Space racer's gun destroying a star is crazy. Please tell me he is just a mere legend
