Obviously a combo of everything, but sauce is the most critical part to me.

The sauce. You can give someone crappy meat, crappy cheese, crappy bread, and crappy veggies and the person eating won't really care versus the good stuff. Give them good sauce, however, and the person will think it's the greatest pizza of their life.
