Dave Bautista seems like a pretty good dude and follows through with what he believes in. Rock is a bit overhated right now I think but he seems more like a business than a man.

Dave Bautista and John Cena are miles better as actors than the Rock. John and Dave both have had great roles especially in comedy. The only Rock movie I seemed to like was Jumanji and that's because it was carried by Karen Gillian and Jack Black

Better person, better man, better actor.

I've always found the quote-unquote 'most electrifying man in sports entertainment' to be dry as toast as an actor. It's almost like he's a deliberate overcorrection from Schwarzenegger's thickly-accented over-the-top action man persona.

So yeah, not taking anything away from Bautista's chops, but being a better wrestler-turned-actor than The Rock is honestly not a high bar to hurdle.

Dave is a better actor, but he's never attained the status The Rock did. Dave never got to move beyond his diverse supporting roles era of his career. The Rock started out playing different roles as well, but quickly became a name in Hollywood and thus didn't have to take anything he could just to build his resume.

Regardless of where they land on the cast list, Bautista has had significantly better roles than the Rock.

Dave is still newer to the business than the Rock is. The difference between Dwayne and Dave is that Dwayne was one of the leading wrestlers during WWF and when he moved onto acting that made him a big draw. Dave didn't leave as much of a mark on the industry but that doesn't make him a bad actor. IN fact, he's a damn good actor considering that you'd think he would be typecast a lot but ends up playing parts that don't seem to match the image he has.

There was the Bond film where he played the silent brutish fighter but then you have to look at all of his other roles like in Glass Onion and Guardians.

Dave, as an actor and an individual.

I remember reading stories where as soon as he got the nod for Drax he started signing up for and taking just a ridiculous number of acting classes.

It absolutely shows.

Dave may well be the best actor to come out of wrestling.

Andre the Giant, while an absolute goddamn delight, was barely an actor, just a charming motherfucker.

I hated the Rock before it was cool!

Fucking sociopath went off script to give like half a dozen unprotected chairshots to the head of an unconscious Mick Foley. No decent person would ever do that shit.
But for some fucking reason people loved this fucker for decades. Welcome to the party, bandwagon-hoppers.

Rock was better in the WWE as both a performer and at cutting promos. Dave is much better outside of the WWE though.

I never cared for Batista as a wrestler but I've become a fan of him since then from his acting and seeing him in interviews and shit. He seems a cool dude.

That said, don't know either of them personally to say who is a better person, but Batista is far and away a better actor. Probably the best big name wrestler turned actor.

Yeah that's the only thing I'm able to find about it when searching outside of randos on Twitter and Reddit stating that he did do it.

Maybe he did, who knows, but it doesn't seem like there's actually anything definitive.

So i'm not gonna claim this as 100% truth, but it was not secret that Batista was sleeping around on his wife. It's the main reason they divorced. Despite what he is saying about it now you can go back and watch interviews with other wrestlers talking about Batistas relationship with Melina.

So this is a supposed quote from his autobiography I've seen before. It goes back to his time wrestling and there is controversy over it's authenticity. I definitely remember seeing this quote everwhere before he started acting.

Now, don't get me wrong, my ex-wife is the love of my life and I would never knowingly hurt her. However, while I was busting my butt on the road like a dog, she would sit around the house and do nothing. I mean, yeah, she had cancer, but she couldn't vacuum?
