And, as stated above, Gamergate literally started because some dude was complaining about alleged actions about his ex. Since when were we supposed to give a fuck about some random person's dirty laundry.

Also "She slept with somebody to get a positive review". Like anyone who believed that line has never experienced human touch before. A fucking review, really?

It's been a while since I watched it but she trashed on the main actress' character over some really nitpicky bullshit complaining that it wasn't "feminist enough."

Never watched any, never had strong opinions about her either

Don't bother with the criticism or analysis, just fund your own games.

Can't wait to see what the 'they're making my games woke and full of unattractive females!' crowd put out once they shut their mouths.

I saw the Bayonetta review but I think she deleted it because it was too obvious she didn't actually play or even watch another person play it.

Those are her verbatim words or close to it yes. She obviously does not mean that in a hyper literal way.

She deleted it because it was full of inaccuracies and called out the Japanese subway ad for causing problems that don't actually exist.

She later reposted an "improved" review where did things like criticize the decision to make her clothes be her hair in the first place but it was still pretty weak. It's obvious the problem she has with Bayonetta is her portrayal in sexy poses but had a hard time trying to fit that into words that sounded like she wasn't trying to tell women that they shouldn't be sexy.

I didn't think she sounded like she was saying that at all. Maybe you just think anyone who says women are sexualized too much in games is saying that no woman should ever be sexy, and you interpret their words with that bias.

I mean is it wrong though? When has a woman who exudes as much sexual energy as Bayonetta ever been the norm? Thats the biggest issue I have with people who are critical of such characters because they really are rare, which seems to say that while rare, its still too often.

I watched a couple of them. I maintain that her earliest videos were made in earnest and that, after an unfortunate backlash, she realized the potential of intentionally trolling misogynistic males.
