Ireland is still definitely my favourite so far.

I think Spain might do well. The audience knew the song and were really into it.

Ireland's performance was astonishing, but the song itself is a bit hard to like (that's sort of a compliment).

Fuck yes, Finland

Finland trying way too hard.

I heard Israel is a favourite to win.

That would suck.

Pretty sure there will be coordinated efforts to make Israel win.

And to ensure they lose, but that's more difficult as the vote splits. Best bet would be to vote for Croatia as they are favourites.

I really rate this Switzerland one.

I hope Israel winds. Not that I take side in the conflict. But only because it will bring chaos to the Eurovision freakshow. lol

Whether you support it or not, the fact that tens of thousands of innocent people have been slaughtered puts anything they happens in a TV music show into perspective.

France is my fave ballade this year, love the chord progression and melody, and the acapella part is beatiful.

France could surprise everyone. He has a great voice, and the simple staging really stands out amidst all the absurd effects used by others.

The step back from the mic is the best moment so far.

Switzerland singer is having a moment that is very smile-inducing as a viewer.

This long walk to the stage is so awkward, haha.

So once again the juries picked the winner. Why even bother allowing the public to vote?

I must not have been paying attention to my Eurovision deep lore but when did this thing happen where a jury awards points for each country and then there's a second round of points for viewer votes that just get lopped at the contestants?

But now after, the melody that is stickint in my head is France. Really love that one.

On the Israel sub people were organising teams of people using vpns to vote for Israel from all the different countries. Im sure that goes on to a lesser extent from all countries but Ive never seen it to blatantly in the open and widespread before.

Also wow at the UK getting 0 points in. The public vote. Thats got to be the worst takeaway from tonight and I say that as a Brit.

I believe it is exactly 50/50 actually since the televote on one hand got the Rest of the world group, but San Marino only hand out jury points since they dont have their own phonelines (all that is connected to Italys systems if I have understood things right).

And yeah, the televote winner beat the jury winner in 2018, 2021 and 2022 for example.

The police are finished with their investigation and everything has been submitted to a prosecutor. The defendant (Joost Klein) is expected to be informed of any potential charges by June.
