Given recent events, I think it best to do a quick temperature check to see who would be willing to cast votes in a Best Pokemon Tournament. This one would be twice as long as my previous tournaments (Danganronpa, Simpsons, Final Fantasy, Dragon Ball) because we would have 128 rounds of preliminaries to create the final bracket, and then 128 rounds of the tournament proper. So, all told, it would likely last the remainder of the year, possibly into next January.

If I'm going to commit myself to doing this I need to be damn sure people are even interested.

So, to show your interest in the tournament, simply vote for any option above. There's no option for "I'm not interested" because that's literally the point of this topic in the first place.

Also just going to clarify that this poll's results aren't going to implement bracket distribution in any way, I have a plan for that already. The poll in this topic is purely to get a count of how many people would potentially vote per round.

As of my vote, R/S/E is leading, which makes me very happy~

That said, I can definitely see just this poll alone getting more action than an entire tournament. I mean, I voted, but there's a non-zero chance I wouldn't even remember this by the time you started!

Yeah that's kind of my concern. I plan on giving this topic the same level of attention I usually give to a round what with the bump schedule and whatnot, and see how many votes it has by 24 hours. If it feels like a decent amount I could start the tournament as early as this weekend.
