You also can't post screenshot from Leisure Suit Larry with bare breast, despite it also being a video game.

And that before getting to games that are straight up porn games that are represented on the site.

It was too much before the rules were lax, after the rules were lax, and maintains to this day too much lol even before the horndog announcement.

But people have gotten away with it in the past thankfully so we got to see Mara in all his glory even those who hadn't played persona 3 yet (since this was before p3 reloaded existed)

There is definitely acknowledgement from margaret in persona 3 at least and in persona 5. There is a scene in SMT4 apocalypse that is nothing but straight innuendo.

To be fair in persona 5 at least its not, like, blatant. One of those "we the devs know damn well what it is and you the player of a certain age group on up obviously knows what it is but if some young kid is playing this it will fly past their head" kind of things.

I don't have a dog in this fight but what exactly is the line, like there are many phallic looking mushrooms. And then there's the original little mermaid poster. Stuff like that. All of those look not unlike Mara, would they be banned too?

My guess is if it's specifically designed to be a giant dick monster, it's moddable. But if it's just incidentally phallic shaped, it falls under the eggplant rule >_>

What is your question specifically?

If posting pictures of her would be a problem like say official artwork or screen shots that show her ass considering she wears basically a thong leotard clearly designed to be over sexualized. Same with Cammy from street fighter but hers is tamer as to whybi use ivy as an example.

Like let's say we lived in a good future where Soulcalibur 7 was announced. Making a topic like "Ivy confirmed for SC7" and that topic having the new art of Ivy for the game would be fine. Just don't have commentary like "Dem tiddies doe" or "Would" or any of the multitude of ways people express horniness.

Just consider the intent or context you are posting about some of the more scantily clad characters in video games. And please understand that the mod team isn't trying to get people. We aren't aiming to suspend people if they accidentally step over the line. Unless you are being flagrant or have repeated incidents you are looking at an NKL.

Thanks for clarification. I should be fine as I don't typically post pictures or make comments. Think the worst I've done is comment on Cammy because certain assets of hers have fluctuated in size from game to game. So I'll just have to be careful about that.

But was hoping id still see pics. I've always been good about liking certain pics and keeping any lewd comments to myself.

No, I'm pretty sure that Jack Frost is still the overall SMT mascot, even accounting for Mara's memetic popularity, not counting the Persona side of it.

For the Persona sub-series specifically, the main character and the inhuman party member from the latest numbered Persona game become the co-mascots of that sub-series until the next one comes out (for P3, it was male-MC and Aigis; for P4, it's Narukami and Teddie; and for P5, it's Joker and Morgana). A case could also be made for Igor as the overall Persona mascot, as although he's never really had the intense popularity of each of those pairs, he also stays reasonably popular rather than fading out, and he's been around since the first game. Either way, still not Mara.

I don't think Mara was acceptable even before.
