The sequel made it harder to climb over stuff, so I stuck to the paths more in that one. --- I want a pet Lavos Spawn. Even with action games I rather go everywhere else just because I'm looking around for extra guns, supplies, missable collectables (got to love constantly crouching and setting off the item area search pings like a jack-ass in last of us 1 and 2) etc. Actually, I like to enable waypoints in video games just so they point to the way you are supposed to go and I can ignore them, lol.
