The doctor. Get a second opinion from another doctor if you're still concerned, but you should generally trust the medical professionals with your medical care over anything or anyone else.

It's just scary to have a reaction to medication I've never had before and the doctor is only going by what I said over the phone and not seeing it

The doctor, if I'm doubt, see another doctor. Google is more or less never a good diagnostic tool for the uninformed.

I remember my sister had an appendix issue so severe to the point it burst, toxins leaked through her body everywhere and she nearly died because a doctor dismissed it as period pain (she was 12/13 and just beginning puberty)

I'd really go out of my way to get a woman doctor if I was a girl

Google told me my water heater at my rental property tripping the main breaker could be a number of things, some of them serious.

The plumber told me a story about seeing 4-foot flames shooting out of a T&P valve before the breaker even tripped, much less the main.

You will be amazed how fast they will move you in with that. I was in a waiting room with my friend when she had a ULQ pain issue. A young girl came in sat next to us. She was there no more than 10 mins and was rushed in. That is no joke

My doctor has always been way smarter than a Google search. Google is just looking at generalizations and likelihoods, whereas your doctor is looking at your specific situation and can make a judgement based on observed evidence.
