I feel like the person who posted FGO's Aphrodite has a point. Other franchises who have Aphrodite as a character literally depict them with more clothing than Hades' version. Even God of War's version, which was also written off as fanservice fodder back then. So again, there's some sort of weird favoritism going on with certain games, lol.

I gathered three reasons for why Aphrodite is fine and Stellar Blade isn't for you guys:

What roguelikes would you recommend and why?
I'll split this into stuff I liked, meh, and stuff I didn't. These are just the ones I've played in my steam library.

Liked
Children of Morta - good coop random dungeon game.
Cult of the lamb - good singleplayer random dungeon game. Combat gets stale though.
Dave the diver - An amazing game, you should play it. I can't think of any faults it has off the top of my head.
Deep Rock Galactic - not sure if this is classified as rouguelike, but it's a great game. First person shooter, you unlock weapons and abilities, dungeons are randomly generated. Me and my friends have hundreds if not thousands of hours in it.
Full Metal Furies - this game was a lot of fun. It's coop hack and slash/sidescrolling shooter. Not a lot in the way of replay value though.
Goobies - this is a roguelite bullet hell in the same style of vampire survivors. It's fun but doesn't have much content. I don't think it's being updated anymore.
Gunfire Reborn - furry FPS, there are several meta layers of powering up in the game. It's coop and fun with friends, combat very widely varies with many different characters so it's hard for it to get old. Mostly it ends up feeling kinda the same after you play it enough times, but I'd still recommend it.
Heroes of Hammerwatch - I remember enjoying this but only after we installed mods to disable permadeath and other unfun defaults. It's a coop random dungeon crawler.
Hammerwatch- basically the same as above. I think it had less content.
Lenna's Inception - Not sure I would call this a roguelite game but it kinda is. It's single player or coop and very fun actually, a bit like LttP but everything is glitching in this world.
Lost Castle - Side scrolling coop hack and slash very similar to castle crashers. It's pretty good but eventually becomes extremely hard. We never beat the final area.
Mimic Logic - It's fun and a logic puzzle, not heavy on rouguelike aspects. Single player.
Moon hunters - Basically Children of Morta, a bit less fun imo. Good enough that we beat it.
Moonlighter - I think this game is really good, but reviews are a bit mixed. Single player, you run a shop by day and dungeon crawl at night like Dave the diver. Combat and inventory management gets a bit tedious but I still enjoyed it.
Nightmare Reaper - A boomer shooter in the style of doom, this game has tons of upgrades. It's pretty fun. Single player.
Risk of rain 2 - third person bullet hell, coop, a lot of fun, a lot to do. 2 of my friends played this together with me.
Rogue Heroes ruins of Tasos - I liked it, but it's not all that well balanced. The first dungeon is very hard, after that it becomes pretty easy. It's in the style of lttp.
Streets of Rogue - This game is great, basically a top-down dungeon crawler with a ton of different characters which give you many ways to play through. Up to 4 players I think.
Vampire Survivors - basically just mindless fun, single player bullet hell with the objective of becoming an invincible ball of death via power ups.

Meh
Binding of Isaac - I enjoyed it for a bit, but overall it's less on the meta side and more on random upgrades and stuff.
Hades - Similar to the above, but a lot less content. I found it repetitive and just don't get the hype. The story is fine, but I've seen better stories. I used mods to make it slightly more enjoyable after first getting bored, but I got bored pretty fast there too.
Ember knights - I personally liked this game but my friend didn't. It's a coop game so not really worth playing single player. It does have combat that gets a bit boring.
Roboquest - I haven't played this much but it's a lot like gunfire reborn.
Ship of fools - too little content, but it's still fun. Coop.
Wizard with a gun - My friend liked it more than I did, I thought it was a bit tedious.

Didn't Like

Cuisineer - They tried to make this a souls like while listing it as a rouguelike. It's just an incomplete product with too little effort in all the wrong places.
Quest hunter - not memorable, not very fun
Rampage knights - same as above
Rogue lands - I didn't like this game.
Son of a witch - this seemed bad so we didn't get very far into it.
Tor Eternum - same as above.

Which I feel I shouldn't post.

I was told by a moderator that it should fine if it's official artwork or a screenshot of the game PROVIDED no sexuap remarks are made about it. Not his exact words but that was the gist of it.

Just because the right have laid claim to Stella Blade doesn't make it part of the right. Lots of things they have claimed end up not supporting them.

You would think they would learn.

Risk of Rain Returns
Binding of Isaac
Returnal
Hades
Spelunky 1 and 2
Slay the Spire
Darkest Dungeon

These are my favorites. All very enjoyable and relatively different from one another

People swear by Dead Cells but idk I didn't like it at all. Beat it once and that was enough.

i liked it a lot until your reward for progressing was removing your ways to heal, and the game's idea of "challenge" devolved into "play perfectly"
