Sounds like the guy fell down the rabbit hole. We hear about right-wing people who do that. Since he wasnt looking to hurt other people, I have pity for him falling down that rabbit hole. Yea not even sure he was into MAGA type conspiracy, based on what the article provides. Say he was against the rich and powerful.Even his Covid conspiracy was more about the economic implications. If I were to guess he didn't care about Trump and in his bad mental state used that to hope his pamphlets would be read. But that is based on little info I won't speculate much. This shit is yet another reason why we need to do something about the unfiltered, unrestricted spread of the far-right's psychotic conspiracy theories over the Internet. On top of getting them to murder innocent people (both directly by violence, and indirectly by supporting politicians whose malicious policies get these people harmed and killed), belief in this nonsense is also causing right-wingers to kill themselves in support of their twisted ideology instead of realizing the truth of what they've been doing and who they've been supporting. It's only a matter of time before the Trumpists start blending the two sides of it en masse, just like radical Islamic terrorists have long been infamous for doing. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I honestly really dislike that people are trying to paint this dude as part of a political team. Conservatives are claiming hes a far left commie, and as you can see people here are still trying to say hes MAGA.
The man was incredibly unstable and his beliefs were not rooted in reality towards either side. He thought Trump and the democrats were working together on the same side. If anything this should be a case for better mental care facilities than well at least hes on the other team --- Hee Ho ... Copied to Clipboard!

For the curious, the jist of his conspiracy theory is that the world's governments (and all major political parties) are literal kleptocracies, that cryptocurrency is a pyramid scheme through which such kleptocracy takes place, and the government is conditioning us to be docile and accept the planned furture global fascist regime by brainwashing us with entertainment media and themed products to make us depressed and convince us that the American dream is dead and resistance is futile. Unfortunately sometimes when faced with the realities of life under the current state of capitalism, some minds turn towards conspiracy instead of consciousness. Sounds like this guy fell into that category.
WingsOfGood posted... Leftist believe Covid was a government created event? The idea (or umbrella of related ideas) that Covid is a global governmental conspiracy designed to foster dependence and compliance within the general population is itself reactionary, but its one that at least a few self-proclaimed leftists subscribe to. Jimmy Dore and his ilk come to mind. I would say if anything the real leftist conspiracy regarding Covid is that health organizations like the CDC ignored actual data and safety recommendations from science and medical experts in favor of appeasing the capitalist fears of economic collapse, resulting in national policies (relaxing of stay-at-home orders, reduction of quarantining restrictions, loosening of masking requirements) that caused an excessive number of preventable deaths. --- (he/him) "The hopeless don't revolt, because revolution is an act of hope." ...
