I get that a lot of people just assume that it's vaguely opposite of the catholic churches values (filled with sex, metal, drugs, etc) but that just sounds ridiculous. Like you really think that God is just going to give all the fun stuff to the devil and have him party with his homies in hell or whatever? Hell is supposed to be some miserable, God forsaken place that destroys you mentally and physically. Forever. Not a paradise for everyone who doesn't align with the beliefs of the church. Heaven is supposed to be the literal paradise. I would honestly rather just go to heaven, than burn in hell, at all.
