Maybe I'd feel differently if I actually had any interest in the NFL or sports in general, but it's crazy how a fucking draft is such a big deal. I work downtown, and so many of the roads are closed or heavily restricted that it's now a pain to commute in and out of the downtown area. Unfortunately, my job is one where I don't get to work remotely (I need to be onsite or near my assigned site to assist the PCs of the employees who are working remotely), so I have to come down here all week.

I avidly follow the NFL and would be pissed if the draft was in my city, too.

Even more of a pain today. I'm going to have to find an alternate way to get to my lot since my normal route has been so interrupted.
