I don't care if it's a ban on scatological pics, gore pics, feet pics, clown pics, dogs dressed as nun pics, or whatever else could be considered the most disgusting. The idea of telling grown-ass adults in any nation what DRAWINGS they're allowed to view is fucked up.

I understand a host not wanting certain content on their site. But an external ban? In the name of morality or avoiding what's icky? Those deviants are still gonna have deviant urges. If you eliminate the fake stuff, they're more likely to act on the real stuff. They're not going to stop being creeps because you say that they should.

unironically i dont think ive encountered non-nsfw content on that website

You can turn off nsfw filter which I occasionally do now and then. 18+ is even very tame since something like simply wet clothes or swimsuits is considered 18+.
In any case, this seems like another case of the internet getting enshittified. It's really rather depressing how less accessible websites are becoming even as the internet itself technically expands with users. But can't even tell which users are bots anymore.

They might even just relocate elsewhere, thus having to track that new location down. If it's already in an established location, they could just keep an eye on it and go "oh, this one is a child, so it has to go." which is understandable. That way it'd be easier to monitor, but scatter all the lesser harms around the internet and repeat. lol

the left is just as puritanical as the religious right, except they use phrases like "the male gaze" and objectification" as excuses

Do you still think affirmative action is racism?

Because this opinion is just as upside down and backwards as that one.

We have to replace all the people that died during COVID so our birth rate doesn't fall too far.

Anime babes can't repopulate America.

Then fight for a living wage and strong unions. Those are two of the economic pillars that got us a middle class and a baby boom in the first place.

(Being one of the allies with a relatively intact manufacturing infrastructure helped, too. Because that meant lots of union jobs paying a living wage for soldiers and others to come back to.)

Until then, all some of those zoomers can afford is a one-room studio with an internet connection (if that; they probably have to use their phone data) and a 2D girlfriend.

dogs dressed as nun pics

That is oddly and remarkably specific compared to your other examples.

Yeah, I'm not familiar with all the sites, but apparently payment processors are pressuring most sites that have lewd anime content. I think that's both morally and politically wrong. Payment processors shouldn't have so much power.

Not giving nichegamer a click so they might mention it in the article, but for now you can get around this by setting your Pixiv account region to Japan.

More payment processor bullying. Patreon ain't too far behind with it's wanting of the rule that your characters in your art will have to consent. Fictional characters will have to consent to sexual activity. This how you know media sanitization is beyond stupid.

Oh yeah lmao it's true.

Good question is how do you even illustrate that? Have a signed consent form that fell off the bed?

It may be arguable payment processors don't have to process payments on sites they don't want to.
Still, I'll agree trying to control the content of the sites is overstepping.
