Galamoth from Castlevania SOTN. Dude rekt me for hours before I finally beat him. That was before I heard of that accessory that lets you cheese him which to this day I still dont know how to get.

I just go in now with the crissagrim and just dice him now..
It's called the beryl circlet. I don't know the exact location but it's in a breakable wall (I'm sure you can look up where).

For me the Ando Londo archers were the real boss. I struggled so hard to get pass them that I kept restarting my runs. By the time I finally got pass them my character was stupid tanky witj 20 flasks that made mebeat them on my first try.

Lady Butterfly even though she's more of a beginning boss. But she's optional. Therefore, she can be fought midgame.

I made the fatal mistake of making her the first boss I beat. The actual firsy boss felt like such a joke. LoL

I love how his gimmick is being a wimp, and even the journal entry for the guy is like "he's not a great fighter, lol" but he will absolutely DEMOLISH you, on top of having that dumb gimmick where you only have like ten seconds or whatever to kill all the water clones or you just for no reason die.

And then even afterward, like, he doesn't even appear in the following cutscenes at all. Not even an "auuuugh you beat me." He just straight up vanished into a puff of darkness in-gameplay and Sora's like not even winded.

It's like early in the script he was supposed to be a joke boss but they changed their mind after they'd already recorded dialog and stuff.

Exact same lol. To this day, I don't think I've ever lost so many times to a boss as much as I did to her. I feel like my death count to her was in the 40s. But definitely made the rest of the bosses easier. I even beat that boss on the horse on the first try, and apparently a lot of people struggled with that one. I wanna say I even beat him without even getting touched.

I will say I never got demolished by him but its the stupid gimmick of having to get rid of his water clones in a set amount of time that gave me so much trouble as a kid

He is still late/endgame game considering he can kill you in one unprotected hit unless you have 98+ HP. 75 Ranged + Blowpipe to efficiently do the caves alone makes it late game at least. The harder stuff (raiding) feels almost post-game to me.

Yeah the horse guy was the boss, don't think I no hit him though. Crazy part? I beat Butterfly's second form first try with low health. No idea how, just started dodging out of sheer desire not to fight her again. Never did anything else as cool again. LoL

Ah yeah, I completely forgot about this one lol.

Since I had the collector edition that came with all that pay to win DLC stuff, I figure I'll start the game on hard. That fucker ganabelt was like, the 2nd hardest fight in the game despite being the 2nd major boss (only behind the water lord dude whats his name. I didn't even have no real problem's with the game's superboss/cameo fights compared to these 2 dudes). I wiped when I first fought him, and in the second I went to prepare by making like 3 of the light reduction damage accessories (it threw me off that lightning attacks which is traditionally counted as....well lightning in the tales of series were light based attacks in this game, lol) and still only won with the dude law being the last man standing and completely wiped of my recovery items.

It's not a specific boss, and I know most of you will scoff at the notion of Skyrim being challenging, but the midgame will kick your ass if you aren't prepared. Levels 25-30 are when some of the game's toughest enemy classes start appearing (particularly bandits and draugr), and plenty of new players get to that point very quickly and without having put a lot of thought into their leveling, resulting in their skills being spread too thin and not up to the task of going toe-to-toe with the beefy new enemy classes. This tends to mellow out by the time you get into higher levels and start maxing skills, thus making Skyrim's middle the most challenging.

If you know Tentacles is coming, you can easily cheese it. Put Running Shoes/Hermes Sandals on Celes and Sabin. Then you can't be slowed and therefore can't be grabbed. But going in blind that can go downhill fast.

In recent memory I'd say Ibis in Armored Core 6. Had to bash my head into it for a while since I went in the game blind and wasn't using or didn't know about any meta builds. I found out when I had more credits to throw around later that I was using some of the game's worst weapons in my main build.
