The school my girlfriend works at had a trans substitute. Parents were so afraid of her that they were refusing to send their kids to school if they had a chance of being in the same room as the sub. Loads of comments on the PTA Facebook page discussing how they can get her fired. She understandably decided not to continue working there. People are sick

I don't get why people even care. The important question is, can they teach your kid maths? Kids are so so far behind these days.

This is what conservatives want. They want trans people barred from jobs so that they die in the streets even as they shield uncle kiddy diddler from having his "bright future ruined."

These parents think that a single trans person is going to convince their strong beautiful cis-gendered teenager to become trans... yet the teachers can't even get the students to not look at their phones or wear deodorant for an hour.

How are they supposed to suppress their own kids' sexuality/gender identity if they see how happy people who aren't suppressed are? It would be impossible.

Too bad the internet exists.

The worst part is that no one actually cared and this didn't come up organically. It was just manufactured behind a single Fox News HR e-mail.

The cries of "indoctrination!" from parents who are petrified of letting their kids learn anything other than what they want them to learn would be hilariously ironic if they weren't so genuinely dangerous.
