Ign gave it a 8/10. I really do wonder if it's really that good as people are saying it is.

I never thought a Sonic the Hedgehog Cinematic Universe would exist, let alone be well-received.

I had no idea it was even outthanks, OP. Going to watch this with kids. Both of them love the two Sonic movies and Knuckles is my daughters favorite character.

Is Jim Carrey in it? Hes the only saving grace of the first two films tbh.

It helps that, at least for the Paramount movies, CGI characters like the movieverse versions of the original Sonic games' cast (minus Eggman/Robotnik) are expensive to animate, compared to paying a human actor to play Generic Cop #2645792.

I mean yeah, fair, but Sonic X did the same stupid real world stuff and that was like the worst part of that show.

I would just much rather see a spiderverse type animated sonic that actually focuses on his world and characters rather than a human movie that happens to feature some sonic characters

I didn't read there's literally barely any Knuckles, as much as I read that it's barely a Knuckles story, meaning if you expect like massive Knuckles lore dumps, you'll be disappointed. It's a "Knuckles in the human world" story.

Yeah, apparently it's... Very much what the trailers implied. It's a LOT of Knuckles and the other guy, very little... Just Knuckles.

Eggman has always been human, that doesnt mean it needs to take place in the real world

Did you not play the adventure games? From there on it's been pretty well established that there are humans in their world. The latest ones have just taken place away from civilization.

Guys its not the humans I have problems with lmao. The humans in the sonic games treat sonic like hes normal in that world.

These movies are the real, non talking animal, human world. Thats what i dislike.

Yeah, weird shit just happens in the world of the games where humans are present. They dont bat an eye at talking animals or magic emeralds

I know these movies are made for younger audiences, I just dont enjoy the guy freaks out at the strange talking animal plot lines.

3 episodes in. It's been good and funny.

Yeah, I've started watching it, and I actually enjoy it.

Granted, the trailers didn't repulse me, I kinda liked the idea of Knuckles wanting to create a "warrior" out of the "dumb funny human friend" who clearly isn't a warrior.

Yes, I absolutely would like the Sonic movies to deviate further from the human aspect and more into the actual... Sonic aspect, but for what they are... Screw it, they're not bad.

I watched the first episode and I thought it was fun. Looking forward to watching the rest of the episodes later.

The only Sonic media I ever enjoyed was when they still released its games on the Genesis. The og cartoon was good too.

Oh, gotcha.

If you're okay with the Sonic "mom and dad," you'd probably be okay with Wade, in this series. Wade is actually... Well utilized, all things considered. If you don't want the human characters AT ALL, you'll hate him, but if you're okay with them... He's actually a rather fun addition to Knuckles.

Well I finished it. It was fun, had it's humor and at least one episode intentionally done as a bad 80's movie.

You guys are nuts man. The show was dookie. The ads were all brazen false advertising. This isnt the Knuckles show, this is the Wade show with tiny Knuckles cameos.

I dont care about some fatherless fat fuck winning a bowling tournament. The titular Knuckles literally spends most of the show sitting in the passenger seat of a car or staying behind at Wades house while Wade trains or sitting in a hotel room watching TV during the climax. If I was a small child who loved Knuckles I would be so bored watching this and sad that I was lied to.

How hard is it to make a show about anthro animals fighting robots? How hard can it be?!
