And an argument can be made that he's the main antagonist. A boy works his ass off, trains for years only to get eliminated by a child prodigy in the last round who hits him with a lucky kick. So far, the only FF game I hated was 12. "Loved Luna". At least in the base launch game their love was barely explored. They met a single time during the entire game, and most of the game he didn't even mention her. At least with Stella, the character she was based off of, there was at least interaction, even if it wasn't going to be love.
