[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

I see no problems here. Nicely done calling me out and humbly accepted that I was wrong.

That said, when you're 84 years old do you think you'll remember an A4 2.0 TDi, or do you think you'll remember that black S4 that you spanked around and had a good time doing so?

When I got my Ferrari the sales guy said "so yeah, this manetinno changes the traction setti-oh, sport already?"

Hasn't moved since.

Enjoy it, make the most of it (but ofc be safe) - life's too short to drive boring cars around.

Oh, environmental side. I plant a few trees every year. I daily an EV, and my electricity is renewable (hydro and wind powered). I'm not allowed to drive my 1.3 Mini into town, but my decatted 6.2L C63 is welcome. I don't make the rules, but that seems ridiculous.

Oh yeah London has that stupid congestion charge. Hate garbage like that. My condolences.

TBH I don't mind the congestion charge that much, it makes sense where it is. If I miss a traffic light, I'm probably waiting longer for a green light than I would be if I missed the tube and waited for the next one.

ULEZ is the one that pisses me off. It's unloved by pretty much everybody in London, however that's gettting political so I won't discuss that any further. There are two sides to it and everybody is correct of course, the world is a flower.

Fair enough. I dont know anything about ULEZ so I wont comment. In Canada we have the gas guzzler tax (usually reserved for cars like Hellcats, Lambos etc) but its a one time payment when you buy the car.

Well said mate, I didn't realise you worked for Audi. I had a newish A4 with the 265bhp engine and thought that was a very good bit of kit. The service tech drove an M3 so we had some fun discussing the vagaries of the SMG box.

Cars are indeed A-B boxes but hey. In style. Haha.

PM me if you're in London, I have a Merc C63 wagon as a daily and it's not far off my Ferrari (540bhp vs 552bhp). Audis are great cars, my sister has had hers for over 6 years and loves it. I'd have kept my S4 but when I saw the exact same Merc (like, the actual car) come up for sale, which I'd previously sold to fund a house purchase, off the S4 went and in came the C63.
