The oceans aren't going anywhere (literally) so the human race is still gonna be fine.

I saw some replies that seemed to skip over rain's necessity for supporting non-human life. If it ceased to rain, all vegetation would die. Animals would go without water and herbivores would lose their food. Carnivores would then lose their food when the herbivores go. Plants prevent soil erosion so you'd end up with dust storms the world over. It would be extremely bad.
