if they have a guide I will usually use it over gamefaqs.

i still use gamefaqs over strategywiki

anyway rpg classics is the best. i miss hand-crafted artisan websites.

This is what I miss most about the old internet. I used to have a bunch of different niche websites I'd visit for all sorts of news and info. The internet felt like walking through a city, each website was a different shop with a different vibe and specialty.

Nowadays, I go to Wikipedia for all information about every person, event, or media project ever made. I go to Reddit for news, memes, and discussion about things I enjoy (games, anime, etc.), I go to YouTube for freeform entertainment, I go to Netflix, HBO, etc. (basically all the same site just with different selections) and I come here because...well, it's a habit.

I remember I used to frequent a place called RPG dreamers 20 years ago. I checked the website again around 10 years ago, and it was no longer functioning - the domain was on sale.

I just checked again, and the domain is still on sale.

that was a fun site
but they get some information wrong like thinking esuna in 7th saga was a man when its a woman
or thinking bowman wasnt good in star ocean 2 when he is incredibly OP

also never listen the the level recommendations on rpgclassics
every guide is like "this is the first boss and its literally impossible to lose this fight. but spend 3 days grinding to level 40 before fighting it just to be safe"

All of the sites I ever made were 100% textpad created. With some minor additions I stole from other pages.

I gotta think that Im about fifteen years past when that was a thing.
