I loved Sonic Unleashed. The hub worlds were amazingly detailed and had actual sidequests which I don't think any other Sonic has.

The day levels were pretty fun. If we didn't have the werehog levels it could've been a pretty sweet game.

Day levels are some of the best from the boost era.

Good game. Only issue is the frame rate drops in certain levels but Xbox series fixes it, getting the medals to progress the last levels might annoy you (I just do the side stuff for it) and other than that I know warehog levels aren't for everybody. I enjoyed it all the way especially the warehog levels and replay it at times.

The Daytime levels are mediocre "boost to win" and have some bad level design
The Nighttime levels with the wolf are awful
The hubs are awful
The QTEs suck
Lol medal collecting

You're better off just playing Colors or Generations

I liked the day and night levels and the overworlds were pretty cool. One of my fav sonic games.

I've never finished the final level. PS3 version. Or flip flops between speed and werehog but it's just so long that when I got the game over I just couldn't be assed to start over.

it wasnt in depth, but it wasnt the worst thing ever. The biggest culprit gameplay wise is the enemy variety doesnt really change beyond the first level. You get like 2-3 more enemy types out from night levels 2 or 3 across 9 night levels.

The biggest threat is being blown off the stage, or falling from platforming
