Starting with the bad, It starts to feel like watching middle schoolers talk when they start emotion/trauma dumping. Tbh I just started skipping these, inching through them with one press of the arrow key. General story theme spoilers for S1: ~~we have one amazing arc where this old Butler is basically Moby Dick hunting the white whale that killed his wife except the whale flies through the sky and erases memories.~~ ~~then evil witch cult that we have heard about forever finally appears for the exciting climax with a insanely likable villain similar to joker and one of my favorite villains in anime.~~ People seem to hate Subaru which is fair but to say he doesn't suffer for his choices is completely wrong. The character is all about suffering from the bad choices he makes. S2 is worse than S1 because, by then, all the novelty is worn off. A lot of tropes in it are being deliberately subverting though? Sadly it got basically nothing for a budget so the animation is sketchy at times + no one actually knows it even exists.
